VDA Volume 6.8 “Process Audit Supply Chain” is an international standard for evaluating and optimizing logistics processes in the automotive industry. It closes the gap left by the removal of logistics issues from VDA 6.3 and covers the entire supply chain – from project planning to customer delivery – in order to minimize risks.

This training provides you with the basics for performing process audits in the supply chain in accordance with VDA 6.8, considering the process-oriented approach and customer-specific requirements for comprehensive application in the automotive industry.
You will learn which requirements are relevant in the areas of project management, planning/realization, supplier management, procurement, transport, production and warehouse logistics as well as in customer management and how the requirements can be implemented in concrete terms.
The certification exam allows you to have your qualifications independently verified, enabling you to meet the requirements of customers or suppliers regarding auditor competence.
Your certificate confirms that, as a VDA 6.8 auditor, you are capable and authorized to independently conduct process audits both internally and at your suppliers.
The VDA 6.8 training course for VDA 6.3 process auditors (ID 966) is a one-day intensive seminar that prepares VDA 6.3 auditors for logistics processes according to VDA 6.8. It imparts skills related to process elements L1–L7 (project management, supplier management, logistics). The seminar is VDA-licensed, requires prior VDA 6.3 knowledge, and qualifies participants to register for the VDA 6.8 exam (ID 962).
