This Excel (*.xlsx) file allows you to enter and evaluate your results from the VDA 6.3 potential analysis and to create the potential analysis report.

This heatmap (pattern recognition) (*.xlsx) enables you to a systematically evaluation of the audit reports in your organization or your suppliers. From the systematic evaluation, you can already visually recognize weak points and thus potential for improvement in your organization or your suppliers. You can choose the Excel evaluation per commodity or period independently.

The new volume VDA6.3 2023 contains many examples on software topics. A Software Essentials training course will be offered on these concepts, but also so that auditors can better understand the topic of software development / auditing. The VDA name and ID as well as the publication date have not yet been determined.

The basic training has also been completely revised didactically. We can not reveal all, but small secrets at this point:

The audit management part was omitted because it is already included in the ISO 19011 training. This has provided a lot of time to go into the process audit in more detail and to train more elements in the exercises.

The examination must not be missing either. The new name is ID 382 VDA 6.3:2023 Process Auditor Examination.

Like the training, the exam has been completely revised and is conducted exclusively as an oral exam in an audit simulation.

Completely new and certainly very interesting: The exam can now be done online.
This also contributes to sustainability because travel times can be avoided.

What is new in the validity of the auditors' certificates?

The most significant change is the validity of the VDA6.3 2023 Process Auditor certificate.

For many years we were used to a validity of 3 years. With the new version, this has been extended to 5 years.

All those who already have a VDA 6.3 process auditor certificate must renew within the 3-year period and will then receive a new VDA 6.3 certificate with a validity of 5 years.

The VDA 6.3 process audit is a globally recognized standard that has been translated into 16 languages and is used by more than 75,000 certified VDA auditors.

6. When conducting a VDA 6.3 process audit, the requirements of other standards will also be discussed during the audit meeting. To ensure that the focus of the process audit is not lost, the foreword clarifies which standards are not part of the VDA 6.3 process audit.

7. In some VDA standards (e.g. maturity level management RGA, product and process release VDA 2, ...) the same contents were used with different designations. The goal of the new VDA 6.3 was to harmonize these names.
8. The dovetailing of all VDA standards is elementary. In order to strengthen this, the requirements were harmonized. Duplicate requirements were reduced where possible.
