The activities of this training are designed to:

• Ensure the correct interpretation of the requirements of CQI-12 "Special Processes: Coating System Assessment".
• Improve the management of coating processes, with a focus on defect prevention and continuous improvement.
• To provide a common language for coating processes for original or service parts.
• The session is not designed to be of a technical nature of the special coating process itself.

Aim

Identify CQI-12 as a tool that includes requirements focused on improvement in coating process control, defect prevention and variation reduction.

• Identify the main changes in the 3rd edition vs 2nd edition.
• Understand the requirements of CQI-12 and identify possible modes of compliance (evidence).
• Identify and apply audit techniques, including qualitative and quantitative sampling necessary for the generation of reliable and realistic diagnoses.
• Improve the structuring and description of detected deficiencies and non-conformities.
• Align the qualification of internal auditors to the CQI-12 best auditor competence level.

Prerequisites for participation

Basic knowledge and experience in coating systems.

Target audience

Manufacturing and quality engineers, internal auditors of special processes, coating process supervisors, coating process quality inspectors and technicians, and anyone involved in the implementation, maintenance and/or compliance of a coating.

Qualification Certificate

After passing the test at the end of the training, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
